About Sand Slice

Cutting moldable sand is one of the most satisfying things to watch: the clean slice, the colored layers, the soft crumble. Sand Slice lets you do it yourself, with endless blocks and nothing to sweep up afterward.

How it is made

Every block is a small recipe: a mold, a sand type and what is inside it. The game draws each pixel of a cut face straight from that recipe, so a slice at any angle shows exactly the layers, swirls or hidden center at that spot. Every sound is synthesized in your browser from filtered noise; there are no recordings, photos or outside images.

Free to use

The game is free and needs no sign-up. Ads from Google AdSense pay for keeping the site online; they never appear inside the play area. See the privacy policy for what that means.
